Our Story

Inscripto was born from a passion for art and artists, to create art and provide artists the support that they need to grow and shine while focussing on what they do best.

Uyo - Artist & Art Organiser

As an artist with a career spanning multiple industries—including visual arts, administration, creative writing, communications, public relations, entrepreneurship and project management—Uyo's current work is in ceramics and fabric pattern design.

As the organiser of the Sharing Africa Art Exhibition, she is also actively involved in using the hands-on experience and skills she has garnered over the years, to help and support other artists of colour. Her journey has given her a deep understanding of both the creative process and the practical challenges artists face in building sustainable, fulfilling careers.

Uyo is also a member of the Old Stables Pottery in Yatton, and the Clevedon Art Club.
